Senior agentic front-end UI/UX engineer
I design and build web and mobile applications, from the first sketch and design in Figma to an app in the App Store. As an agentic engineer I work daily with tools such as Claude Code. This lets me quickly deliver results you can test with real users, then evaluate and iterate on. I switch easily between users, stakeholders and code: I map out requirements, know where the priorities lie and have a sharp eye for detail in the product I deliver.
Development of a renewed iOS and Android app for students of Leiden University. With the app, students always have their timetable and study results at hand, and their student card through Apple Wallet and Google Wallet integration. I independently handle the entire development of the app and lead the development process.
Indurex develops a cybersecurity platform for industrial installations (OT/ICS). I gathered the requirements, then designed and built the front-end of the application, translating complex security data into clear interfaces, and built the complete design system. I also introduced Scrum and guided the team in working in sprints.
For SPIL, the Mediahuis news brand for 18 to 25-year-olds, I built a Next.js web app where you scroll through the news just like on TikTok, with a self-hosted HLS video streaming solution that loads fast even on a 4G connection. I also advised on design and technical choices and was the link between stakeholders, designers and development.
For GPRI I built the iPad app OptimAIR in six weeks. GPs in South America use the app to make diagnoses within a medical study on shortness of breath. The app digitises the entire research process, from informed consent with a digital signature to the analysis of a questionnaire.
As senior app developer I was responsible for the further development of the Olympia App in React Native. As lead front-end developer I also rebuilt the Olympia web portals, coordinated the collaboration between back-end, UI design and the product owner, and led a complete refactor to increase stability.
